I was scared to wash it when I first got it after reading some if the reviews saying it bleeds so I have been using a blanket for my daughter to lay on top of when she's in it. I will have to hope it doesn't bleed when I finally wash it so that she can use it for tummy time. It was pretty expensive for what you're getting but it's still kind of hard to find black and white contrast baby stuff so I splurged. Setting it up is pretty simple but I feel like it could definitely have been made better. It's pretty flimsy and I think the loops to connect the rods may be too big allowing it to be wobbly. I also think it's ok to use for my newborn but the toys hang too low and if your baby has enough muscle control then they would be able to pull the toys (and the rods they hang from) down onto them with no problem!

This play mat is nice and sturdy. My 5month old has had this since day 1 and loved it each day. The contrasting colors caught his eye right away. Its a nice size, but now at 5 months we have an added quilt under it to add to the square footage of floor space. He likes to grab the black and white arches over top and pull them towards his face to chew on. They are flexible and sturdy. He never gets hurt doing this. The toys come off, and you can switch them out if you want. The only reason I dont LOVE it is because the red and black faded after just 2 washes. Its not a big deal, just wish the color wouldve stayed a bit longer. Its easy to clean, and after drying it looks crumpled and ruined, but put it back down with the arches back over it, and it lays back flat and fluffy. Great product, baby and I love it.

Little guy loves it! Only thing I would recommend is maybe get a couple extra toys to hang down further for them to kick that make noise. We did that and he will spend quite a few minutes more playing.

This is very soft, cushy, vibrantly colored play-mat. The arches can be tied onto the mat, so you can move it easily in one piece and also to make them stable, and also allow you to clean the mat. The rings separate, so you can move the toys around, or let the little one play with them in their hands. I would purchase again.
