I love it when a product is reasonably priced AND delivers reasonable quality and functionality. It installed with ease in my 2013 Polaris Ranger 500. I did read another reviewers complaint that manual tension is needed to install so it doesn't get tight enough - BUT I just installed it as tight as I could at a slight angle, then tapped it into place and it is super tight and didn't budge one bit after several test drives on some bumpy trails. I also have no problem with the gun pockets - they are well padded and the velcro strap has a lot of overlap and holds snug. I use it to carry a smaller .410/.22 combo or a .30-.30 and as the picture shows I just tilted the gun vertical and it's also snug and didn't move... while laying the gun on it's side it is a loose fit and will move about... Also, I mounted both sides more towards the middle and it leaves plenty of head clearance. Overall it well constructed and serves the purpose I wanted it to.

My only complaint, and it really is more of a warning, with this product is the fact that the position of the front gun carriage is tight for putting a gun in and taking it out. You have to be careful not to scrape or bump your gun stock on other components, such as a rear view mirror, when using it. The product though is a good value, and I recommend it. For the money they are charging you I can't complain. I am using it, and will continue to use it.

This is a very good quality product! Because it is a "universal" fit and my new Polaris has the "pro" cage I had to modify it to fit. It was easy to do. I shortened the main part by cutting it just behind the first adjustment knob. I had to cut the "grove" in the second part deeper so it would slide short enough. I flattened one of the "forks" on the cab front so it would fit between the roof and the cage.
I knew when I purchased it that I would have to modify it because of the new style cage on my Polaris 1000. I've tried it out and it works great!

Heavy duty but it slipped and hit me and my grandson in the head got to figure out how to secure it better because no matter how much you tighten the screws the vibration makes it slip
