We purchased two and used for 1 season and the wooden arm rests have turned gray due to losing the sealer and stain. The hardware that stabilizes and connects the tubing has rusted since it is not aluminum. May be OK if you stay clear of pool water!

The chair itself is great. Well made I'm kind of vintage which we like. However it was way too expensive for a beach chair and for the price of the chair they should have shipped it for free. My children bought this for their dad. I would not have paid this much money.

I'd like to preface this review by saying that my previous Telescope chair lasted nearly 20 years (bought it in 1994). It did require a few repairs after about 15years, but was exceptionally well made worth the money paid. The two new chairs I just received aren't nearly the quality of my first. The aluminum is much thinner and they don't seem like they'd last even 2 years. Definitely not worth the high price! I will be returning the two new ones and seeking out a better made beach chair.I'm very disappointed. I gave one star because I like the fabric and the pattern (limelight).

These are sturdy and well made and very attractive. They are fairly lightweight considering the quality but they are a little heavier than the cheap ones. Very comfy!
