wish it had a better set of directions for test purposes, but it's what you expect when the directions were written by someone who speaks English as a second language.....and likely is not an engineer.....Yep, it's working but it took time and experimenting....

Looks better than the brown one my truck camper had, and works great. The thermometer is useless though.

My old thermostat required batteries, had broken electronics, and was designed with the capability of controlling ac, heat and fan, but was only wired to control the on/off of a LPG furnace. If all you need is a simple device to control a simple device, then this is the thermostat for you. It only required two small adjustments that were clearly explained in the info sheet and easily understood with a quick google search. It is simple, it is robust, and I forsee it performing its purpose for a very long time no batteries needed.

Easy to install. Works as advertised. Be sure to read the instructions and calibrate the anticipator properly. Manufacturer manual says: Do not put below .48 because it will burn out the anticipator. It appears to be already preset at
1.0 which is good.
With safety a priority, I called the very helpful customer service at Atwood in Indiana to verify the exact thermostat model needed for the existing Atwood Hydroflame heater in my RV. For safety sake, I recommend doing this instead of guesswork.
The only negative comment is to echo others about the on/off switch which is way too tight to move. That is a manufacturing issue with Atwood that they need to address. I solved the problem by very carefully shaving the plastic bump under it. That is why I gave this 4 stars. Amazon and the seller had the best price, $5 cheaper than Walmart.

This is a piece of crap. I bought it because the on/off switch broke on the old one. The new one is worse. If I use the on/off switch without taking the cover off and loosening a screw the switch would break. Then I have to tighten the screw to make the furnace work.
