Exactly what I ordered and needed
Great lube but a few drawbacks…

Firstly, electricity flows through graphite, so this is not durable for things like pressure switches (lithium grease is great for lubrication near electronics).

Secondly, graphite makes a big mess, so it lasts a long time, but it's not ideal to use it just anywhere.

This is my lubricant of choice on my reel mower blade. Cuts quieter and better and reduces the chances of anything clinging to the blade or bed knife.

Graphite is also my lubricant of choice for locks.
Sadly, it's the best

I use this on threaded copper pipe fittings that need to be screwed and unscrewed repeatedly. With a lot of care, I can spray and twist and wait to dry and repeat until an entire set of threads is a uniform graphite black. The coating is quite durable, and won't come off without vigorous scrubbing with an alcohol-soaked rag (water doesn't do much). All of this is very positive. It's a pain in the butt to do though, firstly because the solids content is low (so you have to spray repeatedly to get a good coating), and secondly (most importantly) because the can DOES NOT COME WITH A STRAW! Nor can it fit a straw from another aerosol can. So in addition to getting a wonderful coating of graphite on the threads, it also goes on my hands, the table, other parts of the pipe, etc.

Given that it is such a pain to apply, why four stars? All the other graphite coatings I have tried are worse. Slide-rite graphite lube is kind of greasy when it dries and doesn't stay on as well. Slip Plate Black Ice is real crap. Even after shaking vigorously for several minutes, the can still sprays mostly lubricant for several sprays. Then, it re-dissolves any previous layers, which means the place you spray it on becomes free and clear of any graphite. And, it wipes of cleanly with a dry rag after it dries (whereas CRC requires an alcohol solvent to remove). So, Slip Plate lacks any durability at all.

If anyone from CRC is reading this, I would give your product 5 stars if you would make it less messy to apply!
It works

I use it to lube the hood rests/pads on a Kenworth. Eliminates the squeeking. Cleaner and last longer than white lithium grease.
This is more like paint than oil.

This product applies like a spray paint, and is best used on a surface that is accessable, like a gear face. It is not designed to enter cracks and crevices like a spray on oil. The graphite film dries hard and very fast and does not come off easily, I tried to remove the overspray with carburator cleaner and it would not come off. I used it to lubricate the steering gear of a riding lawnmower that had open access to the gears and access to the sliding parts. It is not good for lubricating surfaces that need a long time to penetrate, like a ball joint or the interior of a bicycle chain. It dries much to fast to penetrate that type of mechanism.
So if you can access the surface you need lubricated, it is perfect. If you need a WD40 type lubricant that will penetrate, this product will not work well.
I also used it on the rubber grommets that hold the sway bar on my car, they were squeeking. But I had to unbolt the grommet and spray the inside of the grommet and the sway bar to make it work (it completely stopped the squeeking). Without disassembly the graphite spray did not work, it dried before it could lubricate the grommet.
So again, if you can get to the surfaces that will make contact, this product will apply like a paint and do a great job. If you cannot access the surfaces, use a general purpose oil, penetrating oil, or WD40.
