I disliked the fact that I had to pay the Golf Cart Ranch at Lake Fork Texas some $270+ to replace a part to fix the charger and the board that only lasted 6 months and about 6 charges before it went out again. The real bummer was the board was only $49.00. Hope this one last a lot longer because if it don't I'm getting a different brand than ez-go.

Instead of replacing a $300 charger, I replaced the board. Very easy install with good instructions. Now my old charger works better than it ever did. No loud humming anymore. And now it goes off when it senses a full charge. Very happy with my purchase.

This board saved a couple of hundred bucks (I was going to purchase a new charger)! There is an excellent troubleshooting video on you tube that gives you about four simple things to check to determine whether or not you need this board. You don't have to be a technician. If your charger quits or becomes intermittent in turning on this board is usually the problem. Just trouble shoot your charger to make sure this is the part you need.

It arrived quickly. I must assume at this time that it works because, as it turns out, I didn't need it. The unique nature of the 36v Power Wise charger is that it does not work on dead batteries. I had to charge the batteries with 3 12v chargers set up in parallel to give them a partial charge, then the Power Wise kicked in. I ordered the board because I thought there was a problem with the charger, turned out it was me...

I replaced the original board in my charger a couple of years ago with one of these. The relay would no engage so I was looking for one by different and thought that's what I would get. Instead I got the same as the one I used to replace the original. It works fine until it doesn't. I hope this one lasts longer the the previous one. I think they use inferior components.
