Really Great door knocker.

This solid brass knocker looks great, and it's super easy to install. (Some folks mentioned having trouble reaching the mounting screws, but it's simple to remove the turtle from the mounting plate, install the plate, and then reassemble on the door.)
Downside? People comment on how nice it is, but ask why it's upside down. Also ... even the visitors who realize it's a knocker don't use it. Must be a cultural thing, I guess.

It must have been recently redesigned because I cannot imagine we will have any trouble installing it, no offset screwdriver is going to be needed. A good solid piece of hardware and a perfect holiday gift for any turtle loving homeowner.

This door knocker was chosen by my wife. I was reluctant to buy it, but when it arrived, it looked even better than the picture! I wasn't overly pleased with the mounting of it though. They give you wall anchors to attach it to the door. I have a fiberglass front door and those anchors do not hold this very good. The top screw/anchor has started to pull out of the door, so it's only a matter of time that I will have to drill through the other side of the door and use a thru bolt. If you have a wood door, you wouldn't have any problems! Overall this is a winner, the manufacturer needs to rethink it's attaching method better
