Very useful, compact and light device, and stable in the tub.

This has been an extremely useful item for us allowing a disabled person to get into and out of the bath tub. The controls are easy to use. It does say to not keep battery in the charger all the time, unlike some other models for which it makes no difference. It is a light and portable device and we carry it to where we need it, in th the lowered position.It stays stable in the tub and is easy to clean.

In the right size tub this item might be useful. That is provided you like bathing in a very 90 degree upright position and have short legs. The controls are clever but the feet placement and stability depend too largely upon moderate suction cups interacting with multiple curved surfaces. A reasonable solution for the dollar but relaxing bathers are going to have to pay more apparently.

The Splash Bath lift was a good product but our bathtub was to wide for the side flaps to reach so it did not work for us--otherwise it would have been great.

Every senior needs one. Perfect for bathing if you enjoy soaking in a tub. A unadvertised side use that most people dont think of is that it can also be used for lifting a person from the floor if they have fallen and cant get up. If they are not hurt, set the lift on the floor beside them in its lowest position (its lightweight & easy to carry). Have the person on the floor scoot their bottom onto it. Put a sturdy kitchen chair beside them to hold onto, and push the UP button. The lift chair will easily lift them high enough that they can stand up, or slide onto the kitchen chair. I know it works because I used it yesterday to get my husband up. Before, I would have had to get the neighbor to help. FYI: I am not being paid for this review, just wanted to pass this on to someone who might need it.
