Classic toy worth the price

I bought this for $16. I remember loving this toy as a child and bought one new but in a "damaged" box. The item arrived dusty but in otherwise perfect condition. My 2 year old grandson and 6 month old granddaughter were both mesmerized by the train, the spinning, and the fun train sounds, which were just right as far as volume goes. There is a reason that this toy continues to be a classic in children's toy chests--it has lots of action and is interactive for children as young as 2. I feel like is was a super bargain at $16, and it would still be a good purchase at a higher price. I've had it for about a month, and it still looks great despite heavy use and multiple drops on the wood floor.

Was disappointed - box slightly damaged, toy would not work well. The metal twist that you push down on tomake it spin and the train to move was flimsy and not very strong.

It is a great attention keeper and fun for my grandson. Two major problems is the weak spindle that pushes down and the lousy suction cup made of stiff plastic/rubber that has already split.
Great toy but broke within the first half hour

Great toy but within the first half hour, it was broken. The rubber piece on the bottom split, and it became hard to push down to work it. I loved the sound and my grandchild loved it until it broke.
I crank it up and she watches it spin and she loves the whistle and the bell (I tell her it is like Daniel Tiger's trolley)

My granddaughter loves this top. She is almost a year old and it is very safe for her to use. I crank it up and she watches it spin and she loves the whistle and the bell (I tell her it is like Daniel Tiger's trolley). She can even put her fingers on the top of the push crank while it is spinning around and it is completely safe - she has never come close to hurting her tiny fingers.
