Durable and work as promised

Easy to install and definitely make riding feel different, once you get used to them you get more power out of your stroke when you stick your feet in these. Takes a few rides to break them in to the shape of your foot. I probably ride ~50 miles per week and haven't had any issues with durability in the last year. It does take a little while before you get used to sticking your toes into the straps while riding, at first you have to look down in order to get your foot into the loop but over time you don't need to any more.
They came in the package a little dirty.

I had read a couple reviews about people saying the straps came in a little dirty. I was hope I wouldn't be one of the ones to experience that but I was. I still give it a 5 out of 5 just because I know I'm probably going to dirty them myself and it's cool. No actual harm to the straps. They look like they're in great shape, can't wait to put them to use!

18 months of all-weather abuse and they're in great shape, I see this lasting many years. I run them through aluminum pedals and ride brakeless every single day and they show no signs of fraying against the corners of the slots in the pedals. They retain their shape really well. Really nice that they don't have a metal buckle like the fyxation version which I find causes the strap to be a lot more finicky

As mentioned in another review- won't fit Fyxation Gates Slim. Well, they will fit, it will take ALOT of effort (with tugging, pliers, and back&forth levering) to fit them through. Took me about an hour per pedal. So I'd recommend buying pedals with a larger opening for these straps

I love riding my bike with toe clips. My new Specialized Sirius X 2 bike does not have holes in the pedals for traditional toe clips so I was lucky to find these Origin8 Pro-Grip II Pedal Straps. They are easy to install and remove. Very sturdy and the velco works very well. They tend to bend and flatten out since they are not metallic but you learn how to make them work. I really like them and they are actually MORE comfortable than my traditionally toes clips since your toes are NOT pressing against metal. Going to ride my bike again today and am I am glad I bought this product
