Fixed Hood, but oh well!!!

I was very surprised at the amount of insulation in this coat, it is warm. I am skeptical as to the "waterproof" claim, but time will tell. I am disappointed that the hood is not removable, but that isn't the manufactures issue, I assumed it would be removable; silly me. Otherwise a nice coat and it does appear to be well made.
Reasons to be optimistic.

Real nice. I got XXL I'm 5:10 230 fits perfect with enough room to layer, not that ul need to, it's very warm, I get remarks from everyone how cool it is. Only thing didn't care for was velcro pockets.

My daughter and son on law bought me the pants for fathers day, so I had to find the jacket. I had a similar item on my wish list but I want matching patterns. I am a big guy who knows that manufacturers all seem to have their own ideas of what is XL, let alone 2XL or larger. Wildflowers products appears to use a modern American sizing standard as the 2XL pants fit just fine. I got the 2XL jacket and fit perfect as well. BTW you will not want to keep these on while inside your house for very long. You will be hot very quickly. I look forward to trying these out in about four months.
