If you have big legs/calves then after a few hours of wear, they are going to get a bit uncomfortable. While I didn't have any numbness to indicate they needed to come off, there was definitely a slight 'pinching' feeling beneath my knees. Granted, I had them over my pants and not against my skin but definitely would not be wearing them for more than a party or something that is going to be a short while.

REASONING FOR PURCHASE

Halloween costume, not sure what I'm going to do with them now.

I like the material , extremely fitting so it kinda hurts after a long wear, arrived late.

I bought two pr of these for my bf and I to add to our Marty the circus zebra (Madagascar3) costumes. They are really soft and fluff up nicely. I have not worn them for any length of time so I cannot speak to the shedding issues others have stated. They are super comfortable.... the elastic is not too tight...(for either my bf or I). They are lined with a silky material which allows them to hang off your calf with some weight as well as provide a non itchy experience. These arrived within a day and a half from ordering. I tend to be a nite owl so I was very impressed with the timeframe between order and arrival. All in all... a great product at a reasonable price. Okay, so let me start off by saying I'm writing this to TRULY help people that don't know whether or not to buy this product. Before I decided to take the risk and buy them, I was very confused because there were so many conflicting reviews--some people saying they loved them, others saying that they were falling apart--one even describes them as "not a synthetic fur as it appears in the photo, rather a strange shredded plastic that feels cheap and not fur-like at all."

I will tell you that they are not made of 'strange shredded plastic'. However, I will say that yes, the fur material is cheap, and they do shed. As of now, huge clumps aren't coming off of them, but I have a feeling that it could happen once I'm out and about.. So far I've only worn them around the house, and the shedding has been very minimal--the most they shed is when I run my hands over them a little roughly. I am taking them to EDC in two weeks, and I expect they probably will get pretty destroyed there. Also, there's really no way these could ever be washed, which limits their use. I will say that I agree with the review that said, 'If you are an avid raver, these probably aren't for you'. If you're looking for something that will last for plenty of raves, I would invest in like a 60 dollar pair. BUT, if like me, you're looking for something quick and cheap to last for a two/three day festival, these are unbeatable. They were only 20 bucks, they're just as bright and pretty as the picture is (I think they look even better than the picture in real life), and they're definitely durable to get me through a long night at EDC. Honestly, I love them! I can't stop wearing them around the house cause they look and feel awesome, even if the material isn't of the highest quality. Four stars cause they're super fun and pretty, and a very affordable price! I hope this helps anyone who is on the fence!
