great for hunting trips.

went into a wilderness area this year on an elk hunt. I don't like the egg products you get with the mountain house breakfasts but i like the mountain house southwest breakfast hash. so my partner and I would have a great breakfast of hash, eggs and mission brand dried tomato wraps. One packet of ova easy lasted three breakfasts. Not as good as real eggs but 90% there and when you are 10 miles from your truck the flavor goes to 100%. I will also use these on the hunts that occur from a truck camp. no broken eggs after traveling 30 miles on dirt roads.

You would think these are even worse than airline eggs ... but they're the sleeper hit of the camping year! Put them with shelf-stable bacon and it's like Cracker Barrel in the middle of the woods. Can't beat it.

I bought a sample to try it after reading the positive reviews. Great tasting and yes, we really could not tell the difference from freshly made scrambled eggs. This item goes with us on our camping trips from now on.

ok so really dried eggs? we thought this would be a last resort meal out on the PCT for a month, and the first time we fixed them we were at our food drop a day early and had these left , WOW, they are amazing , made as directed they scrambled, cooked and fluffed like real eggs if you had not seen them come from a package you would never believe they are not the real thing, w a bagel toasted over a morning fire you are indeed Livin' the Dream

I was pleasantly surprised. These powdered eggs taste good when reconstituted and scrambled. They also taste work fine in a cake mix. When used the cake tasted just as good as when made with fresh whole eggs.
The fact that they are shelf stable, have a long life and can sit on a closet shelf is very helpful and I still can cook recipes requiring whole eggs without worrying about having fresh whole eggs in the fridge.
