I have tested this out, it requires a good amount of force depending on the cork. I'd almost recommend using gloves as it can dig into your fingers. However its size and weight make it perfect for my travels, you never know when you're going to have that unexpected bottle of wine.

I was initially worried that having a long thin object on my keychain would cause some irritation if kept in my pocket, this this isn't the case at all! I bought this as I need to downgrade to a smaller Swiss Army Knife that could be kept on a keychain, but still needed a corkscrew. This definitely gets the job done!
You'd need to super strong to pull the cork out
