It is almost 3 weeks since I received this microcope M 148C and I am disappointed.It took my several hours to focus using the high power objective but I don't see any magnified image.All the scopes i checked in the internet has a fine focusing knob but this one has'nt.No user manual is included with the microscope.
I would not waste your money on this microscope

I would not waste your money on this microscope. For starters, this is the second one I have had a bad experience with. The first one I sent back because it was delivered broken, and when I tried to reach out to customer service, they acted like I did not know how to work a microscope. I bought this for my third college level BIO class. All three have required the use of lab equipment such as microscopes, and I have never had any trouble with those. I have been using microscopes periodically throughout the last ten years. This microscope didn't come with instructions, the camera doesn't pick up anything through the scope, and we can't get anything on the slides to really show up. I am incredibly frustrated because this is for a fast paced class and I am not only damaging my grade, but I am also unable to see/learn what the labs are showing us. We have to take pictures of what we see, annotate the frames, and submit for credit. This first picture is the best we could get after TWO HOURS of adjusting and playing with different magnifications. That picture is what we got with an iphone. The second is with the camera that came with the microscope. That is all that would show up, no matter what we did, nothing changed. This obviously looks nothing like what is being advertised and I am super disappointed in my experience.

Bought this for my * year old son at Christmas. HE LOVES IT. He and his younger brother are on it all the time. The program for his laptop is great! He can take photos, make movie slides and keep notes on his slides. It is a real real microscope too! Sturdy and very great for all ages.

This item was purchased for my grandson as a Christmas gift and it is my understanding that he is thrilled with it. A great way introduce a kid to the world of science.
