Just bought this for my 9 yo who wants to start cello. For a beginner cello I feel like this is at least as good as most other beginner cellos out there. Where this stands out is the price. You get quite a bit - cello, bow, case, rosin, cleaning cloth, extra strings. A basic set of strings can run you $100 alone. My perspective is as a former orchestra teacher, player and parent. Of course this sounds like a beginner cello; of course as students advance they will want something better, those are givens. This fits a niche well- a beginner student who wants to try the cello out but not commit to a lot of $. I think this is a great option that wasn't available to me when I started playing. As far as the setup, mine came with the soundpost intact and the bridge fit well. Make it's sitting the correct way - there should be slightly different sized notches where the strings rest on the bridge. If the soundpost had been rolling around freely inside the cello I would have bought a soundpost adjuster or taken it somewhere to have it set up. Again this is a great option for someone wanting to start cello but not wanting to spend a lot of cash

Was for my granddaughter, she play viola, and now she want learn Cello, She is happy, The product is nice, you can said WOW when open the box

Nice Cello for beginners. I have no complaints price-wise.

Everything as described. My daughter loves it. It's good quality for a startup or beginner's instrument. The case is a soft case which is ok if you don't lug around too much because strap is simple nylon strap like a backpack and doesn't carry comfortably. Otherwise great product for price!

Just arrived, everything seems all right. Acceptable sound. Worth the money so far.
