After years of using menstrual cups and approaching menopause, I began to have monsoon periods and inserting a cup became painful. So, I decided to try tampons. These have been the best so far, even though they're not exactly eco-friendly. The applicator is plastic and extremely smooth and easy to use to get the tampon to the upper part of the vaginal vault. Absorbency is excellent and it seems to do a job of creating a seal to minimize leakage. When it starts to leak, I know it's time to change it. I can go three to four hours without a change and have been able to sleep through the night. It's been wonderful. I highly recommend these tampons if you have extremely heavy periods and looking for a comfortable tampon with super absorbency.
