Works great on a SD9VE. Single button on bottom is superior to the side-slide switches on other lights. Beam is concentrated enough to be able to use it as an aiming device. Took it out night shooting at silhouettes and was able to hit the target every single time without using sights --just the beam of the light-- out to 15 yards.
We aimed the lights at each other (removed from the pistol of course) and we were totally blinded at 25 yards.

Overall the product works great. It is easy to use and mounts to both my XD and XDS. However, I am not terribly happy with the latching mechanism. It wobbles a little while mounted, mainly because it has a spring assisted latch as apposed to a threading pin that you can tighten. Other than that I have no complaints.

5 stars. Very nice, bright, reliable light. No stupid modes to cycle through. One button, on/off. It very nearly fits exactly as if it was made for my XDS. It stops just a hair past the barrel to where it basically looks flush so it doesn't have that stupid "flashlight past the barrel" obnoxious look that most compact handgun flashlights have. Pops on (very securely) and off in a half second to where I end up popping it off and using it for my light just out of convenience. Also balances my XDS out nicely when I have a 9 stack instead of the shorter 7 stack mag.
Guess that's it. Just wanted to reinforce what everyone's saying. This is a very, very nice little flashlight. Very nice. I'm rarely this satisfied with anything I buy even after reading so many good reviews.

Nice bright light especially for the price

Nice bright light especially for the price. Not overly happy with the small push button on/off switch. I'd recommend one with a slide switch instead. Solid rail attachment with quick and easy to detach.
