WONDERFUL! I sent plants from Colorado to Illinois during July when temps were in the 90's both places.
I wasn't sure these would arrive in good shape, but they kept my delicate plants intact with no signs of trauma.
First time I have used this kind of box and won't hesitate to use them again.

After seeing how much it would cost to send frozen food by mail, and learning that the local UPS store was going to custom build and insulate a box, we decided to try this insulated carton, place the carton in a suitcase, and fly with the carton from Dulles to Phoenix. Success, and a lot cheaper than sending next day air by any route (sure, we had to buy plane tickets, but we were flying to Phoenix anyway).

Our biggest concern was that the frozen food was going to thaw out. To minimize the risk of thawing, first we made sure the frozen food was going to entirely fill the carton. Second, the day of the flight we purchased two pounds of dry ice and packaged everything into the carton, including the dry ice, and let everything cold soak for several hours. About three hours before the flight, we removed all the dry ice (you do not want to send dry ice on a plane - we found out that is very expensive), and repackaged the frozen food into the insulated carton, now chilled about to the temperature of dry ice, or -109.3 degrees Fahrenheit or -78.5 degrees Celsius. Then the carton, which we did not tape closed, went into the suitcase, surrounded by clothes.

Off to the airport, a 5-hour non-stop flight to Phoenix, and then an hour trip from the airport to the final destination. The total time in the insulated carton was about 9 hours. Upon reaching the destination, everything was completely frozen solid. We were thrilled with our first-time experiment with these insulated cartons. Indeed, now we wonder how well the cartons would do with frozen food by way of second day air. However, it might be a while before we try that particular experiment.

Admittedly, our experiment in shipping frozen food was under very controlled circumstances, but this insulated carton worked great. We would definitely buy these again.

I highly recommend this product which I used with the Polar Tech TP12/MS Ice Brix Viscous Gel Moisture Safe Refrigerant Cold Pack, (6" Length x 6" Width x 1" Thick - Case of 12) to ship cheese from northern New England to southern Georgia. I placed the gel packs in the deep freezer for 4 days and packed into this insulated shipper box. I'm pleased to say that the box arrived in excellent condition and that the cheese was very cold but not frozen. This insulated shipper box kept the gel packs completely frozen which clearly kept the food I shipped cold and safe.

I liked that this product included two shipper boxes as I will be needing another one soon.

Great shipping container. Sent some food items to family members with dry ice, and it was rock solid two days later. $16.00 to ship the food via UPS. Lightweight and sturdy.

These are a great way to get breast milk on the plane or in the mail. I used for a 3 day trip for work and it was perfect to get milk home on the plane.
