Living in Florida we spend a lot of time at the beach and pools, these compression shorts are great for preventing rashes. I buy these every season for my husband and son and they work amazing. I've bought a couple other brands for my son (under armour, and champion) and the differences are huge and these shorts are half the price of the under armour pair I bought. They are thicker and fit the body much better. Neither my husband nor son complain about them being uncomfortable. In fact, when my son is in summer camp he'll spend hours in these on pool days and has no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend buying these, you won't be disappointed.

About 4 or 5 years ago Starter released a line of compression shorts and shirts that was awesome. I bought about 10 shorts and 10 shirts, due to heavy use and time they started fading and breaking so I began a search for a worthy replacement. I've tried Under Armour, Russell, BCG (Academy), Tesla and several other brands from Ali Express and I finally found a worthy replacement in Sub Sports, these are even better than the Starter brand ones.They feel like a high quality material, the stitching is super strong, fit well and hold their stretch. The standard shipping takes a bit so make sure you get the expedited shipping which isn't too bad considering they come from the UK.

Ordered, and used for over a year at 2 to 4 times a week before I'm writing this. (* what? I like to wait and gather my data before forming my opinion*) Shipping took a little longer then I'm use to, but, in my head its no relation to the actual product. I'm no triathlete, but, I take my physical therapy seriously (at 2 to 4 times a week, can you guess I'm over 50 and really screwed up?). DISCLOUSURE; These are the first pair of compression shorts I've owned. Also I only ordered one pair to try out first and my wife, being a "cleanie", would wash and dry them every damn time I wore them. (come on people....don't tell me I'm the only one with a partner like this!)They're comfortable. Holds my 'bits and bobs' as they should (I hear a few guys complaining here. They're F'N COMPRESSION SHORTS!! They're suppose to.....what's the word here, COMPRESS? ) but not uncomfortably tight. After about a year, I have bought a few more pairs. I went with my actual size and think they fit fine(but not for outer wear, for me anyway ;) ). Maybe some guys are heavier then they want to admit. *mike drop*

These are well made shorts for a great price as compared to the "brand names" like Under Armour, etc. I did have trouble getting what I consider a proper fit but I've come to realize that this may depend to a great extent on how a person wants these type of under shorts to fit.

I like them snug but didn't really want a lot of compression. I am 6'1" 172 lbs and normally wear a size 33 or 34 waist pant. I usually wear a size M for shorts that have an elastic waistband, or on rare occasions a L size will be Ok. However, with these shorts I found that the best fit for me is the XL size although I don't have any other single item of clothing that is XL.

I tried a pair of these in L size and the fit reminded me of what a lightly wrapped Ace band would feel like. Also, even though I don't really have much fat around my waist when wearing the L size the waistband was compressing in on my waistline enough so that it kind of squished in on the fat creating a bit of what you sometimes hear called a "muffin top". This is not the kind of 'look' that want!

I bought these to wear under my wetsuit and don't need any "compression" just a snug fit and for me this much larger size than I normally wear seems to fit the bill.

Great fit, great support all around. I was wearing thigh compression sleeve for getting and these work better and feel great for all day compression. I play soccer and they provide the perfect amount of support and help my hamstrings quickly warm.up. I also wear a pair after to speed recovery and they absolutely work. I have other brands I like, Nike, UA, Adidas and they are all solid, these however are a step above in fit, quality, materials. I have cold water washed and hung dried dozens of times and they are like brand new. I am 6-3 190pds and large is the perfect size. You will not be disappointed with these, worth buying the best vs buying a bunch of pretty good ones
