I love these votive holders
Jessica✓ Verified Purchase•May 17, 2017
I love these votive holders. I used them at my wedding and now they decorate my living room and dinning room. The gold faux mercury glass looks good. They were a great value.
Love the deep red color of these votive holders

Love the deep red color of these votive holders. They look great on my altar! They arrived well packaged, unbroken, as described. They have a metallic sheen to them, mercury glass-like in appearance.
Cute!

So beautiful! We got them for our wedding decor and they matched so perfectly with the pumpkins, acorns and burlap we had chosen to decorate with. There is no red stripe on them as the picture comes across by the way. These were just so lovely and classy looking on the table!
The item description and picture is not accurate at all

The description is inaccurate. These are not "rustic" glass in an amber color. These are Mercury glass in a gold color.
The picture is even more misleading, since it makes these glasses appear frosted. They are not frosted. They are shiny and reflective.
Mercury glass is metallic and does not let light pass through it. Therefore these are not frosted amber, they are shiny gold metallic Mercury glass with "holes" in the Mercury finish which allow you to see the flame through them (in places).
As you can see from the pictures that I've included, light does not pass through these votives. For comparison purposes I included one lit votive side-by-side with an unlit votive.
If this is what you want, then I can assure you that these votives are of good quality and appearance. However due to the inaccurate and misleading information, I purchased something other than what was advertised. Therefore these votives - and the vendor - are receiving a 1 star review.
Buyer beware.

Half were great. Color different.

These votives arrived quickly and in tact. The color is definitely more gold than bronze. That's fine with me but if gold won't work for you, do not order these. I was disappointed to see that about half of the votives had one side where there were almost no areas for light from the candle to show through. Some of the. Had the opposite problem where there was barely any gold on one side. I will include a picture of a votive that has both problems. One side is covered in gold, the other side has hardly any. I do not have time to return them before my event. However, if I did, I probably would.
