Looks like one of the openings was slightly bent when I got it. I did a little work on it and then put in the post with a rubber mallet and it went in without too much trouble. This was on a bottom post that does not need to move or anything. tried it out in the garage and it worked great. Got it outside and tried it with my kids. They needed a bit more loft on their passes so I had to adjust the angle. took seconds. It really sounds like it can take a beating. bounce surface is really tight and the frame is sturdy and does not move. My kids are starting out so they can't hurt it. I was hitting it about 3/4 speed and it didn't move. A great thing to have around when you don't have a brick wall to bounce against. And a great price too. I've seen plenty of name brand ones > $200. This is cheap, sturdy and well made. I expect it to last until my youngest finishes high school (10 years).

Unfortunately the throwback arrived with a defect that should've been caught by quality control. One of the poles that you insert another pole into was improperly formed. The item was perfectly packed so it was not damaged in shipping and, though you cannot tell in the video, the metal is THICK. There is no way it could've been bent that way without some sign of damage. So unfortunately we could not assemble the product. My husband called for a replacement item and the customer service agent (Victoria) was rude and condescending. It's too bad because otherwise this item is nice. But you cannot use it/assemble it as it was sent to us.

We contacted the company Friday afternoon but they were closed so we had to wait until Monday. They refused to send us the part and insisted it had to be a shipping issue and told us it was out of their hands and to deal with Amazon (NOTE:
The material that comes in the package indicates you should contact them with issues which is why we didn't follow up with Amazon from the start). When the company would not help us we had to contact Amazon for help. The item had to be disassembled (partially assembled up until the point when he discovered the pole issue) and then re-packaged for pick up. You can imagine not only the hassle of fitting everything back in the box but also the utter disappointment for my kids in having to send it back.

The instructions are terrible. Other than that it is a well made item. I wish the company would've handled the issue better and come to a resolution with us. Now we are still waiting on a replacement.

We purchased this rebounder for our son. The box was in good condition but the poles in the box were damaged.Therefore the damage must have happened at the factory. Poor quality control. One pole was bent/pinched closed and we had to physically open it with pliers to be able to connect it to the other pole. Another was bent near the connecting pin and had to be straightened. Then the pin had to be hammered into place and will have to be hammered out if we want to fold it away. Disappointing. With an item this large returning it would be a pain in the...

I read so many reviews trying to decide on the best bounceback for my 10 year old daughter who plays lacrosse. This one is BIG and HEAVY! It took two people to put it together and the directions were not the easiest to follow. My daughter loves it and it works great for some stick practice. We have it in the back yard and during storms it blows over often but it doesn't get damaged. I would recommend getting a trampoline tool to stretch the canvas, it was a challenge to put on. So far, my daughter loves it and it has been in the snow, rain and elements and isn't showing any sign of wear!

bounce is not as good as old brine that it was replacing (only replacing because brine's replacement mat doesn't fit older frame - the brine we bought used and the mat still lasted 5+ more years).

have had this for 3 months and the mat has already started to rip at the frame near the joint. disappointed after researching for a long time to select this product.

11/26/17: contacted customer service re: return (hopefully) or replacement mat
12/4/17: 2nd attempt at getting a response from customer service
12/5/17: customer service (via direct email, not form on website) responded and shipped a replacement mat.

good news that they backed their product, however, don't have confidence that the replacement mat won't do the same thing. will prob add some padding / protection over those areas once i reinstall.
