I've had this mixer which I bought from amazon for 5 months now, it is the best mixer I've ever owned.
I got one from India, which ran for a while and broke (got it fixed and it is working too) but this one is the one that I like most.
it is easy to clean, motor is good, noisy but it is not unbearable. overall it is a good mixer that works for all my Indian cooking and I also made some Thai and Italian sauces in this.
Overall, i love this mixer and I am happy about my purchase.

I noticed the 220/240 Volt models have a fan to cool the motor. 110/120 Volt models have no fans at the bottom therefore motor heats up and will need to reset the machine. Another thing I have disappointed the previous model (2012 year) Jars doesn't fit on this new Machine.

Quality of grinding is good. One defect is that the top lid of the large jar is fixed. So it takes a lot of time to vent especially if grinding hot items. So plan on time when making soups etc. My older Preethi from 2004 had a removable top lid to allow venting. Other than this issue, no other flaws noted. Quite happy as long as you use it to grind cooled or room temperature items.

We use this to grind different spices varying from cardamon to tumeric. The build is good and the steel finish makes it easy to clean. You can simply wipe with a clean cloth and it's sparkles.
Unlike most mixer Grindr a dejar needs to be fixed properly for it to switch on and there is a little difficulty in removing the jar after you finish but you'll get used to it as you do it .
The small jar grinds almost anything, I use it to grind my chili powder and other spices that I require.
I use it on an everyday basis so its pretty study .I used to medium size chart for making battery and it takes around 15 to 20 minutes to make two three pounds.
It's size makes it possible to sit at the corner and the wire can nicely be wrung around. The packaging was good and it's really worth the price.

Well i read a lot of negative comments but i have been using it for almost over a month now n its just amazing. Yeah it makes loud noise while grinding or mixing but all the indian mixers do that so it's not a negative point. I will be reviewing again if there's na issue but so far soo good. Loved it. N totally worth the money. Would always recommend it if someone asks.
