My son is a guitar connoisseur. This is his 17th guitar, and I must say - it has awesome sound! It's portable, and comes with a case, so it is great for him to tote around with it. has a good tone and is playable but I had to even out the strings by cutting down the nut the #6 E string was set lower than all the other strings and I was having to really push down to prevent it from buzzing. After I lowered the other strings it played ok
