Bought this to add an option for teen fun in our basement

Bought this to add an option for teen fun in our basement. We already have a pool table, and I got frustrated trying to find a decent quality 2-in-1 foosball/air hockey table without spending a fortune. Ended up with a separate foosball table, and settled on the Sport Squad for air hockey for the affordable price and it being a table-top model (so not needing additional floor space).
The good:
-Fits our 48" round table perfectly, so a good height for teens to either stand around or sit around and play.
-Only 2 parts had to be installed and screwed in.
-Air pressure is just enough to keep the puck moving.
The bad:
-There's no on/off switch, as soon as you plug it in it starts up.
-So short that there's nothing stopping one from reaching across to the opponent's side, making it less challenging but still a bit hard for experienced players to score.
-It did not break, but the surface area does not seem sturdy enough to handle anyone leaning on it. My 4-year-old niece and nephew kept leaning on it so I had to put it away to not risk it breaking. Let's hope 13-year-olds aren't as rough.

-The felt came off one of the pushers during the first round of play. Guess I pushed a little too hard. We're going to use wood glue which I've had great luck with adhering fabrics to plastic.

Owned For Over Five Years!

I have one of these tables that I purchased for my stepdaughters over five years ago. We store it under the bed when it is not in use. It plays like new up to this day! I just purchased another one for my nephews who absolutely love playing with the table when they come by. I expect the same results. I would highly recommend this as a gift. The only problem is that I had to put both of mine in jumbo gift bags because it is too large to wrap.
Table top fun for sure!

This is actually a pretty nice table top size air hockey. It's definately gotten it's use at my home since it arrived. My only issue is the black holders on each side that also keep score, there was no way to screw them to the table. The holes did not fit the screws. So that was disappointing because if the puck hits it hard enough it will fall off. It didnt slow my 6 year old down though, hence the 4 stars. Maybe a handy person with a drill could rig it up just fine.

Whenever I read those three words, as a father of an eight year old boy, I cringe. Now I've powered through it over the years, and learned that a six pack of beer helps the process. The night before his birthday, I was ready. The beer, the complete toolbox with spare batteries charged, everything was ready. And I opened the box at 8:30 PM.
Four screws.
They were to screw in the puck-catcher thing that also had the score keeper on top. Unpacked in five minutes, completely assembled and working in another five.
We played it briefly that evening and hard the next day when he opened it.
The only issue so far was the felt from one of the handles came off. We simply reattached it and it has been fine ever since.
For the price, and convenience of assembly, this product can't be beat.

Better than expected, disappointing customer service from company

This air hockey table is a lot of fun and a good size. It is not too big, but bigger than the table top air hockey tables. The table itself has a lot of air flow and is much better than expected.
My issues come with the assembly and the pushers, or handles. You have to screw the goals in. My table only had one out of four holes remade for the screws. Also the green felt on one of the pushers came off almost immediately.
I contacted customer service via email and two phone calls I have yet to hear back.
