This meat has very quickly become my girls ask-time favourite. By quickly I mean that sweet, pain in the bum, Rosie "immediately" fell in love with this brand of "Meow Mix Pate Toppers Seafood and Poultry Variety Pack Wet Cat Food". Rosie has ordered (as only your sweet little kitty can do) us to only purchase cat meat that falls within the PATE category. She prefers seafoods, preferably salmon. She hates chicken and refuses anything shredded, cubed, etc.

On previous occasions when I have attempted to introduce new brands and flavours of cat meat my female Rosie, a black and white tuxedo, has laughed at me, okay, sneered, thereby refusing to do anything but sniff and walk away. If she were a human teenager I'd probably have heard laughter and the words, "as if!". And these were the expensive no grains, healthy brands.

Our other cat, a male orange tabby (Spunky)... he is like the happy go-lucky guy who'd walk into any house where if he saw food he'd be the one saying: "yum, me like food!" Spunky has one stipulation, PATE ONLY.

This box was one of those Amazon specials and cost $5.76. It contains 12 2.75-ounce little tubs of pate meat with a small amount of the shredded-version of whatever the PATE was made out of. Since Rosie is a picky pain, I've only tried the seafood versions in this Meow Mix collection. One is salmon pate and the other tubs say that they are a white fish pate. Picky Rosie loved both. Normally, with the Purina meat that she is used to she will lick the juice/fat and perhaps eat a little of the pate meat. Spunky will later come along, look surprised that he has found food while meandering throughout the house and finish off the rest of Rosie's castoffs.😘

Spunky loves everything that came from Meow Mix. I love that goofy little Tom cat.

I highly recommend this food based on Rosie. She eats everything that I put in her bowl. I haven't tried the chicken yet because we still have plenty of the seafood pate tubs o' cat meat. Rosie has never taken to any other brand is cat food. As I said previously, I have bought many different brands of pate cat meat and she has never acted as if she cannot get enough of the food as she has with this Meow Mix brand.

Truly, there have been so many times where she sniffs and walks away. It happened this week with Halo brand of cat meat. (To be fair to that brand, I didn't realize that I'd bought a chicken and giblets pate - I thought I'd gotten a seafood pate! My bad! More food for goofy Spunky!)😖

My 2 kitties, one old and one young, love this soft cat food for their dinner. Dry food is also kept out at all times which keeps them happy and their teeth clean. This Meox Mix is their favorite soft mix with the pate. I was buying this in my local grocery store but once I found it on Amazon I found it was a lot cheaper to buy it by the box than indiividual flavors in the store. I would recommend. I would buy again and have already gotten other flavors in boxes.

Well my cat sure loves this stuff! When I got my kitten at 8 weeks old and 1.5lbs she was given two brands of wet food. The other food was an expensive recommended brand (a good, healthy one) But she wouldn't eat it. The breeder also gave us this sample. She has gobbled this down like it was the best thing she ever ate. Fast forward and she will be a year in a couple of weeks. Now is nearly 12lbs and a beast of a cat. (Healthy correct size for her breed) She is still gobbling this down I have tried other meow mix textures and flavors. Some she likes some she doesnt. But the pate toppers she LOVES!

My cat loves this food- eats it right up! Each individual package has textured food over top the pate & there are 3 varieties of pate w toppings in each case.
It's a little expensive, that's why I use it as treat others mix with some regular food I make for her (she's a chicken & beef carnivore), or if traveling, or power out. It's just a little to expensive to use as only food.
As I said it's very convenient for travel, or if you don't have access to a frig/ice (hurricane time in Fl- NoPower!) perfect portions for a meal!
Easy open... My cat loves all the different varieties, especially with the toppings. Highly recommend! Would give 5 stars except for price ( which it's that high, just to out of my personal daily price point). Hope this helps. :)

Well, *I* don't love it, to me it's like someone shrink wrapped fish vomit in an easy-to-carry container. But my two cats most certainly love it. Every morning I'm woken at 0600 to a rousing symphony of meows which I can only assume translates to English as: "Give us some Meow Mix Pate Toppers or else we'll eat your toes while you're still alive." This is then followed by purrs that sound like an idling jet engine. They refuse to give in until they see me pull a yellow little container from the cabinet, which contains this feline obsession. The pate topping definitely makes it more aesthetically pleasing to me, not all that sure about the kitties because I don't think they can even see it. They just make weird little gobbling noises and then it's gone. 5 stars.
