It is a great space saver and I'm using them to grow pineberries and strawberries. The only issue I had with the stack was keeping track of what was water and if everything was watered evenly. So I created my own solution to water using Mr Stacky and a few irrigation parts from Home Depot.

This planter appears to be made of quality material. It is sturdy. Small enough to be portable, yet heavy enough to withstand the wind on the patio. I think it will last for a few seasons at least.

I do love it and I hope and pray my strawberry plants survive. They were sent to be before time to plant, we still had 2 more weeks of hard freeze. So I didn't get them planted in a bed which was not even built then. So this is why I bought this. Besides I can put a cover over it to keep the birds from eating all my strawberries! They do that now in the flower box I have some already growing in.
