I have been buying this coffee for a while, and I was very happy with the price and the taste. As others mention it's pretty strong which is hard to find with K-cups. Added bonus of being environmentally friendly. However I will no longer be buying this coffee because of the significant drop in quality. A couple months ago my box came with a paper inside which mentioned that there could be some sediment due to a change in the material used, which would allow for better decomposition of the k-cups. It didn't seem to be an issue so I stayed with it, there was some sediment in the cup but nothing that ruined the coffee. The problem was that about every 10th k-cup would leak coffee grounds into the cup. Not just sediment, but a significant amount of grounds which rendered the cup undrinkable. Even worse every now and then a cup would burst in such a way that I had to spend the next 10 minutes cleaning grounds out of the Keurig, check out the pictures. I thought that this may be an isolated issue so I stayed with it for another box, but it's the same result. Approximately every 10th k-cup turns into what you see in the pictures.

Bottom line is that it appears the company has switched up their k-cup construction/packaging without adequate quality testing or maybe lack of quality control. The few benefits of this coffee are not worth the effort required to clean the Keurig after a ruptured k-cup, and any savings are erased by having to remake multiple cups.

BEST COFFEE, BEST PRICE, FAST SHIPPING. I have tried many different K Cup coffee brands and flavors and from mild to bold. And I have to say by far this San Francisco Bay Coffee Fog Chaser is the best one out there to buy and the price is also the best. If I want the coffee bold strong I use the 10oz setting on my Kurg. If I want the coffee taste just to be regular blend flavor coffee but to were its not bitter or weak tasting. I just use the 12oz option on my Krug Coffee maker. I have tried this with a lot of different brands etc and they would turn out either bitter and weak or way to strong and or most of the time strong but not a bold good flavor as this Fog Chaser. I will be buying these for years to come. Just a side note: They package these in vacuum sealed bags with like ten to twenty per bag as to keep the coffee fresh. The bags work great to keep them fresh and you are fine if you tool the top of the bag up and put a clip on the end. But I bought a nice tall clear plastic container and put all the bags in it then cut open just a bag of them as needed. I have also cut them all open and put them in my storage container and the coffee still taste as it should. The only issue I have with this coffee is that I drink way more coffee lol and so does anyone else that trys it lol and if I am out and about and I order a coffee it just is not the same as the Fog Chaser.lol I guess its a good problem.lol Also just a note: All there stuff is full recyclable and the company donates a lot of money and time to charity's and that is so cool. Any how buy it try it as you will love this coffee trust me as I have over 20 different brands and styles of coffee makers from high end to low end from commercial units to home units not to mention all the coffee brands and flavors and streanghts that I have. I really loved the whole bean packaged rainforest blend and usually grind the coffee at home. Sometimes I don't really have time for that, so I thought I would give the pods a try. I was hoping that the comments about the coffee being weak were just because people were using the 12 oz setting on the keurig. I tried brewing my usual 8oz cup, but the coffee tasted somewhat watered down. I then tried the 6oz setting on another occasion and this came out much better. The coffee tasted closer to the flavor I usually get from grinding my own coffee beans and using a reusable k cup filter.

I was hoping to only have to use one pod for the coffee amount that I needed, but have instead started to use 2 at a time. I don't mind the extra coffee. I've tried this coffee without any cream and it has a nice smooth flavor. One of the best that I've tasted. I do however like to add a splash of heavy cream and blend it to get a nice frothy smooth cup. Either way tastes great!

If you're looking for a pod that will give you a strong flavor in an 8 or 12 oz cup without using more than one at a time, this isn't it. If you're looking for a smooth 6oz cup of coffee, then I would recommend it because it has such a good flavor.

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Starbucks coffee--but those Kcups of theirs are soo over priced, it's ridiculous. Sometimes you're paying more per KCup then you are going to the store. We would only buy our Starbucks Kcups at Costco whenever they where on sale--and even then, it would cost 70 cents per kcup....

My goal was to find a kcup that has the similar strength to Starbucks, but doesn't pack the same shrinking-wallet feature. I've purchased a few brands here on Amazon, some where a hit and others where a complete disaster. But, there was one brand that not only had amazing strong tasting coffee, but was also economically friendly (the k-cup pods are a huge space saver).

San Francisco Bay French Roast Coffee is by far the closet tasting coffee to Starbucks French Roast. I even did a blind taste test with a few "starbucks-loving" guest I had a my home. They didn't even notice.

The only "Con" i would say, is the fact that the cost for this coffee fluctuates daily. One time I bought 80-cups for $30, another for $25 and another for $22. So if you feel discouraged with the price, wait a bit and it will go down.

I love these new eco friendly kcups. Fog Chaser is my go to blend, nice and bold with no acidic or burnt undertones. I've been using these for over a year and I've never experienced any leaks, clogs, or grounds in my cup. Not only does the coffee taste fantastic and the pods environmentally sound, the price is fantastic. The only downside to these type of pods is that you have to keep them in an airtight container since the body is made of mesh instead of plastic. This is no big deal to me as I just put them in an Oxo sealed container OXO Good Grips POP Big Square 2.4-Quart Storage Container (I can fit 30 one cups in the 2.4 quart container) and each pod tastes as fresh as the first.

Please don't ever change San Francisco Bay!
