Just when I thought no-one could make a better vegan snack...Plentils came into my life. They are indulgent in taste, but quite healthy. I haven't found an Enjoy Life product I don't like, but these still exceeded my expectations. I have two complaints: 1) they are almost too good so hard to just have one snack bag 2) they are REALLY expensive. I hope they can at least do something about #2 so I can justify buying them regularly.
I received a box of 24 and they tasted and smelled like rancid oil.

I purchased this brand for over a year and absolutely loved them, BUT the last box of 24 tasted AND SMELLED like rancid oil. Dunno if they are cooked in oil or not, all I know was that the smell was just awful as well as the taste. Threw all of them in the trash. Not ever buying these again

I only discovered these within the last month so I can't speak to the new versus old recipe comments some other reviewers have been complaining about, but the chips I received when ordering from Amazon have the same great taste of those I initially found in a Fresh Thyme store one month ago and became addicted to. There's just something about these I love. The things that really stick our are the great, not overpowering hint of dill flavor and the unique crunchy texture. I wasn't looking for and don't need a product that's gluten free, vegan, etc., but I saw these on the store shelf and thought I'd give them a shot primarily because I like both sour cream and dill. They just taste really good, and while not in an overwhelming sense, are better for you than "regular" potato chips. I like getting these in the .8 oz size simply for purposes of portion control, because they're addicting as hell.
