I am very happy with my purchase of the Polka Rose 3-piece tea set, salad plate, and tea cup and saucer boxed set. I always get compliments for it whenever I use it. It's like drinking out of a work of art! You can definitely see through the bone china when held up to a light, which I understand is highly desirable. The tea set arrived several days earlier than the stated delivery date, which I was happy about. There was, however, a chip on the creamer/milk jug so I returned it, but I got a replacement within two days. The tea cup and saucer boxed set arrived perfectly fine. The plate also arrived on time and intact. I don't care if it was made in England or China, I am looking forward to expanding my collection!

Love it, but disappointed it was made in China and not in England as stated, came with a bit of mold inside the teapot, and all three smelled like mold, which was a bit concerning, hence the four stars. Took a good washing to get rid of the smell. Otherwise - sturdy, large pot, contains enough tea for 3-4 people. The set is light green, I though it was light blue due to the pics I saw. Not spectacular, but still pretty. If you are looking for something more flamboyant, go with the rose petals ones.
No draining holes inside the tea pot

It's one of the most famous England brand and I thought it used to made in England as well. But it's actually made in China. I do like the design of the pattern but not the funtiinality of it. Tea pot normally needs to have draining holes like my other tea pot (see picture below). This one doesn't have it.
Beside no draining holes issue, there are lots of scratches on the pot and the dish. Not up to my expectation of Royal Albert quality.

I bought this for my best friend for Christmas, and she was so incredibly happy to get it. The colors are classy, the shape is as pictured, and it is very high quality. It arived earlier than expected, too!
The INCREDIBLE thing about this tea set is what is has gone through.
She took it with her when she left, and this week she was driving home from college in a snowstorm and her vehicle drifted on the highway and she rolled four times. Her car was totaled. She got hurt pretty badly, but she somehow lived. Everything she was bringing home was damages and dirty, all except this tea set. There wasn't a single crack. Not a single chip. It was all still in the box, even if it was a little crumpled.
I would give this 6 stars if I could.
