I'm female with average length fingers, my hand measures 7.5" (around the knuckles), and the Small fit well, except the fingers were slightly on the short side.

I like a light-weight, flexible glove and these are very comfortable. They worked well for MIG welding flat. But last week I was welding vertical and splatter burned through the gloves and burned my hand.
