FABULOUS!

Okay, I am DONE buying truffle butter and truffle oil since I found these!!! Mince them finely, then mix them into a good quality butter that you let soften at room temperature, and you will have your own EXQUISITE truffle butter (at a fraction of the price of any pre-made and with Prime shipping!). And this way, you can adjust the "strength" of your truffle butter to your own personal preference. We usually mince a whole jar to use this way with 1 - 2lb of softened butter. Then we reform blocks of our own truffle butter to keep in the freezer and take out as we need them. They last for many, many months, because as anyone who cooks with truffles knows. . .a tiny bit goes a long, long way. We also save as much of the truffle flavored oil left in the jar to use in other recipes. And of course, you can simply leave the sliced truffles intact to put a delightful punch of truffle into your dishes.

The only way I can imagine making truffles easier for us is if we could train our dogs to hunt them under the roots of the old pecan trees in our own yard. Until then. . .these are our go-to!
try a good quality of Truffle salt

It doesn't have a strong aroma of truffle to it. But it is truffle that you can try. If you want strong aroma of truffle, try a good quality of Truffle salt, such as Umbria Italy Truffle Sea Salt from FairWay supermarket.
Byproduct Truffles

I was not a fan of these truffles. I think they are a byproduct from making truffle oil and the real truffle flavor has been extracted and replaced with artificial 'Black Truffle Flavor' as listed in the ingredients. Also the olive oil does not taste like high quality oil. I live near Paso Robles where they make world class olive oil and I know the difference.

In my opinion, this product consists of byproduct truffles, cheap artificial truffle flavor and cheap olive oil. However, I should have know better because to get a jar full of real virgin truffles would probably cost way more than $30.
it sucks..

I believe in second chances. I gave this brand a second chance, yet and still, it sucks....excuse my wording. However, I had no other way to describe this over priced rubbery, no flavor having, not even an aroma......uuuuugh!!!
Yikes!

I bought this product after seeing positive reviews, and boy was I disappointed. It looks and smells like truffles, but it doesn't taste like truffles. I don't even know what happened to the truffles to cause them to taste like this. They taste plasticky and rubbery, and also like the olive oil they are canned in--but they don't taste like truffles. Perhaps it is the canning or preservation process that changes the flavor so much. Even truffle salt tastes more like fresh truffles than these do. I love truffles, but I regret this purchase (and no returns are allowed).
