I bought a house that had something similar to this already installed and I loved it. This particular version doesn't work nearly as well with my current wheelbarrow. The rubberized top section doesn't grip under the lip the way my previous model did. It works, but it requires some intervention to securely hook. My older one just fell right into place easily. It's a great product and relatively simple to install, but it's not one size fits all. I think removing the rubberized coating might work better for my situation.

Caution for buyers. The bottom part of this hook is great and holds well. The problem will be if you have a wheelbarrow that is bowed out (is slightly rounded out) in any way across the top of the bowl, like ours was. The problem is that the top hook only goes out so far and is rigid (which is good for sturdiness but bad for adjusting the fit) so any bow will mean the hook isn't long enough. I have just a Lowe's bought wheelbarrow so apparently they aren't all standard like I thought they were. It didn't say that this wasn't a universal hook so just be cautious to look at your wheelbarrow before you purchase. We improvised and used two other large square twist in hooks that I bought and it worked great with the bottom hook and I ended up using the top hook for a small ladder so I didn't waste it. But just wanted to make buyers aware. I've attached a pic. Otherwise, if you have a straight edged wheelbarrow, it is an awesome, sturdy holding hook set.

This is an excellent product, but I'm knocking off a star because the hardware included is not up to the job. Instead of using the hardware that came with the hanger, I had to install it my own snap toggle bolts"”a couple in metal studs, and a the rest in drywall"”and now it's rock solid. If you've got 16" wooden studs, the bottom bracket will be fine using the included hardware, but in my case the studs are metal and 24" apart.

The top bracket is narrow and can't hit the studs no matter what (16 or 24 inch), and the included mounting hardware is not robust enough. If mounting on drywall, I recommend purchasing snap toggle bolts if you don't already have some on hand. With those, my wheelbarrow is firmly attached to the wall using this hanging system.

Apart from the mounting hardware, this is a great product. I freed up a lot of space in my garage, and I'm overall very happy with the hanger.

This is probably the 3rd of these that I've recommended or purchased.... I know for certain that my dad has two of them. As long as you install them to studs, they will last as long as your wheelbarrow does. Great for getting the wheelbarrow off the floor and out of the way.

Note that the top hinged hangers will not hit a stud, they are too narrow. They come with togglebolts for drywall and that is really sufficient for the function. Mine are mounted on a plywood board, but that's just because the board was already looking good where it was.
