As someone with TYPE II diabetes, I was thrilled to see the No High Fructose Corn Syrup. HFCS can be a killer to people with diabetes and has been linked to causing prediabetes. After eating only one SMALL pancake and 1 teaspoon of this syrup, my numbers shot up from 90 to 258 (I tested with 3 different times with 2 different meters). This label is a lie and buyer BEWARE of any label saying No High Fructose Corn Syrup. FDA is letting food manufacturers get away with calling it simply Fructose or Corn Syrup. Very misleading and highly dangerous for people with diabetes. Never dreamed that makers of Log Cabin would engage in this claim, endangering peoples' lives. For proof of what I am saying regarding the truth in labeling do your internet research on truth in labeling for high fructose corn syrup...there is a lot of information out there!

You guys realize that all these syrups contain NO maple syrup, right? Sugar, sugar, and more sugar with chemical flavors do not come near to the taste of real maple syrup.
