I loved this wine because I can't drink alcohol but miss the earthy taste and sugar balance of wine. This is a dryer wine (less sweet) than Fre, one of the couple of dealcoholized wine offered in grocery stores. I also used it for making Passover charoset as a wine substitute and it was delicious!

I have been investigating non-alcoholic wines due to a recent medical condition, and who doesn't love a good Cab with a nice piece of steak or Italian dinner? I found this in a local store at a decent price, so thought I'd try it. I actually thought it was pretty good.

I don't mind a non-alcoholic wine tasting a bit juicy. While this does taste a little grapey, it also has a berry undertone and a nice peppery aroma with a dry, chalky finish that reminded me more of a Petit Syrah than a Cab. I'm not a big fan of chalky, but it does taste a little more like a real wine than some of the other non-alcoholic wines I have tried.

Be aware that there is actually a trace amount of alcohol in this wine (.5%). It may be what those avoiding alcohol are looking for, but of course you need to make sure that this is appropriate for your unique situation.

I'll be buying it again, but absolutely do not pay the on-line price. It's only worth the few bucks it costs at the grocery store (usually well under ten).

We tried 4 different brands and this one was the closest to normal wine. Would recommend
