I currently own 5 crossbows right now, have had as many as 7 at one time. As far as I'm concerned, next to a bow press, a cable stringer is the easiest and safest way to replace a bowstring, both for you and your crossbow limbs.
A bit to long for my application

Was 1/2-3/4" to long would not pull limbs back far enough to string bow ordered another 2.5 " shorter problem solved

It worked, but not great. ( I doubt our rope cocking gear would have worked at all.) Had some anxious moments stringing our bows, as the loops kept slipping.

I found the product to be as advertised. I became acquainted with the product through a YouTube video and was happy to discover a safe efficient way to string my 150 pound cross bow.
