Horible don't buy. Broke after 2 times of use on sheep. I ended up making the plunge and bought Oster shavers well worth the extra money and now I won't ever have to buy shearers again. Just pay the extra it's worth it. Less stress when the cheep ones literally fall apart. When I say fall apart they actually flew apart! Great seller though they gave me a refund without any fuss. Thank you to them but the product isn't worth buying.

OMG I have Long haired dogs that swim creek and roll in the sand. and have terrible treddlocks. and then come inside. I was scared to use this, because it will cut. And it is heavy compared to my Lister. But this thing works like cutting butter. It powered through all the mats and sand and gave them the perfect summer cut. I used smaller clippers on legs and face. It WILL cut skin,. I watched the angle of the blade...and what took me hours took me a hour. It is just great...and I am no pro. Just a sanctuary with a creek.

I use this for my Australian Sheppard when the summers get too hot. She is a super patient and gentle pooch, so I don't have any issues, but this thing is super loud and actually disturbs my Lab, even from a distance. Luckily he is a medium short hair because there is no way I could ever use it on him. Keep in mind that this can catch the skin if you are not careful or your dog moves around a lot. I think it would be awesome if they made a guard for this like they do for beard trimmers. I may even make my own attachment just to be on the safe side.

This was my first ever disappointing purchase from Amazon. Very sad that the clippers would not clip our sheep even AFTER we cut inches off with scissors. We ended up using scissors on the whole sheep. I would return these in a heartbeat but I threw away the box.

Purchased these to sheer our 2 sheep. This was our first time sheering sheep so in looking for sheers these seemed to be the most reasonably priced with the best reviews. My husband and I were very pleased with them! They did get kind of hot during sheering which was to be expected. We did give them a little time to cool between the 2 sheep.
Not sure what else to say! These got the job done quickly and worked great! And for the price I don't think you can beat these.
