This is my 3rd Hurricane fan in as many months. I love the quality build on these. I have the 4, 6 and now 8 inch model. I run them all on fan speed controllers to reduce some of the noise and they are perfect for my application. The 5 year warranty put my mind at ease as well. Would definitely recommend!

I really like this inline fan, it has a great smooth motor with minimal fan noise. This is a heavy duty well-built product and I use it pull hot air from my crypto mining rig. I have and Antminer D3 an Antminer S9, and a Baikal A900 that need roughly 600 CFM to draw heat away from them as they can get hot. I hooked up a cheap Variable Controller I bought from Harbor Freight and it works flawlessly at controlling the fan speed.

Does the job! I have an AC controller varying the frequency on this to vary the speed. Double ended bulbs have to run at 20degC or close to it for optimum brightness so I have some sensors measuring the incoming air and then adjusting the fan speed to get to the level of cooling needed while not going too far. The fan is noisy when at 100% but that is just the way it is. A lower rpms, the fan is nearly silent.

This fan is not quiet - I had my t460s laptop speakers on and I plugged the fan in and it wasn't like I just couldn't make out what the voice was saying, I no longer could hear the speakers. It does NOT come with an eight foot cord - it comes with a five foot cord and WHAT THE WHAT!? A FLAT BRACKET to be mounted on a device that has circumference in its description.

There is no central HVAC system in my old farmhouse. I used this fan in building a recirculating duct from the coldest room to the warmest room. This allows me to add an air cleaner & filter to the duct work. Now all the air in my house goes through the filter 5.5 times per hour and the whole house has an even temperature. This fan is very quiet, we can't even hear it in the attic (the fan shouldn't be used with temps over 104 F but my duct work is insulated so the fan will operate in 66 to 76 degree air). The fan will run 24/7/365 and comes with a 5 year warranty. I've only used the fan for a week so I hope it proves it's durability. I wish I had done this years ago!
