A lot of clips with one caveat
Oswaldo A. Sosa-RequizAugust 12, 2017
The alligator clips are somewhat small for the skewers provided, the tab that are not long enough to wrap the skewer, that could make them a bit flimsy. Apart from that I like the fact that you have plenty of clips to use for painting.
Be forewarned !!!

No matter what you do, the alligator clips Cannot be securely crimpedonto the wood skewers,Period.Even using C.A. [ super glue w/ accelerator ] didn't help. You'd have to completely remove the plating on the inside of the crimp end for C.A. to bond & that's Very time comsumming.I'm gonna try a differant adhesive, maybe that'll help Also,The spring pressure Is a bit to heavy. That's part of the problem keeping a lasting bond on the attachment of the two.If I can get the 2 to stay as one, then they'll be very usefull.
they're great. I would definitely buy these again

Considering how inexpensive these are, you definitely get your money's worth. There's some assembly required, and the sticks aren't as long as I expected (I switched 'em out for kabob skewers), but for the amount of use they've gotten relative to their price, they're great. I would definitely buy these again.
Be reasonable with reviewing the product

Heres the thing, there is alot of negitive reviews on these clips, but the main thing you have to realise its ONLY 3$, they are simply to install, i bought 2 sets (50) clamps sticks, 6$ for 50 clamps. I cant buy the clamps by them self for that much let alone the heat shrink and wood sticks. For what it is and the price no one can really complain if it takes about 30 minuets of time getting them set. They work great and make life alot easier while airbrushing.

The way i went about installing the clips was a little different with the tools i have at my disposal, i use my dremel to cut about 1/4 the way into the stick and place the clamps into the slot and then crimp with a set of crimpers. Doing that prevents any possibility of sliding up and down and allows an extra "bite" into the stick. I did place a little bit of super glue on the end of the sleeve to prevent it from sliding around.

I use them religiously with my tamiya airbush stand, the sticks fit perfectly into the holes on the base to dry. A few of them i used nitro rc fuel line (small vacuum line) to protect some of the parts from the teeth preventing marks.

they are what they are, and they're great.
throw out the stupid red plastic sleeve

First off, you must assemble these yourself. Then if you want them to stay together you will have to disassemble them again, throw out the stupid red plastic sleeve, get out the Elmer's, and glue the stick into the clips. Once you do all that you will have a decent set of clamps.
