Your dishes will thank you.

Dealing with mold in the bottom drain of my dishwasher is no fun, but thanks to phosphate-free detergents, that is a reality. Fortunately, I read some hits online about using citric acid to help eliminate the mold. Works great! I add a teaspoon to the bottom drain basket after each load, another one before I run the dishwasher, plus one in with the detergent. My dishes no longer have the white chalky streaks that would occur after most loads and the mold in the bottom has been almost eliminated completely. Almost - I still have to inspect and clean periodically, but it's not nearly as frequent as before I got this!
Great product for descaler your Keurig at a fraction of the cost
JerbearApril 19, 2017
Keurig wants $20 for their descaler which is nothing more than citric acid.
This is enough Citric acid to last you a couple of years. Purchasing this from Keurig would cost over $200.
It works great. I have used it multiple times already.

Update: Have used this for over a year. It is much better than white vinegar. Vinegar leaves a taste and requires a lot of flushing. This citric acid works faster and better and flushes out quicker.
No complaints here.
