I ordered this on a whim because I didn't want to buy a new ottoman now. My ottoman is a fake leather and chips of the dried fake leather are coming off. But the structure of the ottoman is great still so I didn't want to toss it. This cover was the perfect solution. My ottoman is 30" x 30". The taupe color is a perfect muted color to match any furniture. It is soft and stays in place tightly. The package looked like it was a 'return' so I was a bit off-put upon receiving this, but the price was good. It might have been a return but was still a good value and appeared unused.

I could not find a cover large enough to fit around my new, big, round ottoman without it costing a third of what the ottoman cost! I just took a shot that this might stretch out around it, and it did! All the way to grabbing the underside of the ottoman. There are a couple of scrunches where the corners of a rectangle ottoman would fit, but not very noticeable at all. And I just snap it off when company is here.

In 2001, I bought some high quality living room furniture that is very well made. As a testimony to the quality, after 13 years with lots of use and seven moves, the frames and material are still very strong and in great shape (no sagging, no threadbare spots, etc.). However, the cover material has some stains and does look tired and old after multiple cleanings.

When I priced new furniture, I was appalled at the cheap stuff that is out there, stuff that will not last for more than a couple of years at best. But we also didn't want to spend the kind of money it would take to replace these pieces with like quality, or to recover them with custom slipcovers.

I took a chance and ordered one SureFit chair cover about two years ago. It worked so well, our entire living room set is now covered in SureFit products! The color representations are good so I've never had that unpleasant experience of expecting one shade and getting something different. I ordered this latest ottoman cover to replace the first ottoman that I got, which was torn on the side after being shoved up against something sharp in the moving van during our most recent move (can't blame the product for that one!).

One of the things I really love is the ability to throw the covers in the washing machine. They come out looking brand new, and it helps control my allergies by keeping down the dust mites, etc. Also, people are surprised when I tell them that these are couch covers. They don't look like covers - just couches. That's what I was aiming for, and SureFit delivers every time.

Looked great and the color was perfect. Unfortunately the chair covers were way too big so I had to return this. SureFit should make a smaller version for the chairs.
