Works very well. Timer is easy to hear from another room, goes off several times if you miss it, and also let's you know if you missed it altogether. The only drawback for us is the sections are a little too small for all my husband's pills ( that being said he is on alot of pills). It doesn't require odd batteries like his old one did, which is awesome. It requires AAA, easy to find anywhere. For the most part it is great!

I intended to buy a cheaper pill timer but after reading reviews that talked about problems, short life and difficulties, I decided to go with this even if it cost double. I'm glad I did. It is not difficult to set, function buttons are protected from accidental pressing by a cover and you have a choice of alarm --- buzzer, voice or flashing light. It can be set to four alarms and the pill holder has four compartments, which is perfect for me since I take medications four times a day, usually three pills, from small to large.

I only bought this because the one I had wore out after about 25 years, the new one is identical to the old one. It's useful to get the associated rack which holds 7 four compartment strips (one week's supply), these strips fit into the alarm block and I can remove one strip each day and fit it into the block which I can then take away with me. It means I only have to sort out my tablets once a week!

Fantastic! I could never remember to take my medications at the right times during the day. I'd lose track of time and only realize I hadn't taken my pills until hours later. This little pill alarm has solved my problem! I keep it on my desk when I'm working and it's small enough to stick into a pocket when I'm walking around. When I'm out, I stick it in my backpack and can hear the little voice from within saying "Time to take your pill" in a pleasant female voice. It always makes me laugh and most of the time I'm engrossed in whatever I'm doing and and grateful for the reminder - otherwise I'd forget again. I never want to be without one of these. It has become so indispensable and the price so reasonable that I bought a couple of extras. The directions are clear and it's easy to program.

I've been using these for years so I knew it was a good product which is why I bought 5 of them when they were on sale. I would have given it 5 Stars but 1 of the 5 does not work properly. The alarm has a very different sound and it randomly beeps when there is no alarm set. Tried brand new batteries but it still did it. In addition to these 5 I have bought at least 4 more over the years and I've never had that problem before so I obviously got a defective one which can happen with any product. I should have contacted the seller about it but I procrastinated and then never got around to it. Other than the defective one these are great pill reminders. They are pretty easy to set and operate and they're pretty durable too. I've dropped them on tile floors quite a few time and the most that has happened is the battery compartment opened up (didn't break though) !!!
