Why so big?!?

My daughter LOVES this. I am an audiologist in an ENT office and my husband is a hearing aid dispenser so obviously the otoscope is her favorite piece. So funny to watch her look in everyone's ears. The pieces are well make and most of them (thermometer, I'm looking at you) look true-to-life. My gripe with this set though is the box. Why is it so large though?? It takes up SO much space for tiny little instruments. We actually ended up buying her another medical kit with a smaller bag and put all of the pieces in that one. They almost nailed it.

Love that this kit is big enough to hold the kids extra doctor stuff. My kids (2&3.5yrs) love this and play with it daily. My only issue is the lid is hard for my 2yr old to fit on correctly as it has to line up just right for it to lock. If the lid fit over the bottom I think it would correct this issue. The syringe that comes with it isn't their favorite they prefer the springy ones to vaccinate their stuffies :)

Purchased this for my son last year for Christmas when he was just over 2yrs old. The kit is really nice, well made & durable. My son can demolish "unbreakable" items with ease, but the pieces we've managed to not lose (pager, scissors & mirror piece are wherever all my left socks are I assume 🤷ðŸ»"â'€ï¸) are still in perfect working order.
The box is big, which bugged me at first when all the packaging was removed & it looked virtually empty with everything in it...but bandages and other items have been added. I'm actually getting a different kit with a variety of new "tools" to add to it this Christmas...so it's perfect!
At 3yrs old now he still plays with it regularly and occasionally my 9yo daughter will too!

The little tools are great, but wish it had some sort of bandaid toy. Also the box it comes in is enormous! The toys don't even fill it up 1/4 of the way, and it's difficult for a little toddler to lug around.

All of the individual pieces are great. My son especially likes to give shots and push the plunger down on the syringe. The beeper is a little jarring but he doesn't seem to mind it. The pieces have held up well to about 6 months of standard toddler play. I don't understand the gigantic box though. It's takes up so much more space than is necessary and the hinge is hard to get lined up and snapped shut. A fabric old-fashioned doctor bag would have been so much cuter. But I liked these tools more than any of the other kits that had the kind of bag I liked, so I went with this.
