Fantastic pedal for the price

Own three sets, have never had a single issue. Fantastic pedal for the price. Great looking product. No "grinding" noise either from the start as a few other reviewers have complained about. I've used mine in the rain without any issues as well. Highly recommend.
Go a few steps up, if your a serious rider

Bearing roll, and sound like they've been sand blasted. You really need to spend $50. or more for a decent set of pedals. Wellgo does make some excellent stuff, but these particular pedal are bottom rung, and they make no effort to disguise that fact
Good pedals

At first glance they appear rather small. Once installed and tested they performed well. I used them on my double century ride (TOSR in southern Ohio). Had no problems.
Terrible

Edit: these pedals have sucked the joy out of cycling for me. The platforms are designed for Smurf...even with the larger size....the balls of my foot rests almost off the pedal. Going back to platforms and single straps . I did however discover the joy of pedal extenders which increases the distance of the pedal from the crank.
I bought these knowing that they were $25 pedals with straps and toe cages. There is a setup that costs $100 with straps, cages and pedals on Amazon. So..if you are looking for a really nice setup, look up origin8. Reading other reviews, I knew that the races would be really tightened down. Sure enough, mine were that way. So, I took them all apart, put the very, very, very, tiny ball bearings in with some real grease. Inside they came with something akin to vaseline. I used high speed waterproof grease. It was a little messy...but so much better afterward. The only downside is they are narrow..and I have fairly wide feet.
I did have Wellgo wide offroad pedals which you can see in comparison.
Again, $25.

I had to return these the bearing felt like they were full of sand. Total junk.
