not your mama's soup tureen

We purchased several of these tureens for a large Indian Fusion wedding we catered - to add to our collection of beautiful and functional Sertodo copper service ware. They are terrific for soup, stews, curries and other wetter offerings that get to sloppy in a normal shaped "chafer" (even the beautiful round and oblong copper ones). Our Indian clients of course love the look but so do many of our other clients - here's an example of two of them in use at a recent Puerto Rican and Latino Wedding in NYC - we had Creole shrimp and spinach in one and Cuban Rice and Beans in the other (it works just like a chafer so the ingredients don't have to be that saucy). Some of the Sertodo products that we have have lasted us with minimal care for almost 10 years - they are well made, highly functional as well as drop dead gorgeous. We also get compliments on how beautiful they are!
