Pros - It looks much more professional and sleek than my old bag. I like all the dividers inside to help organize my stuff.
Cons - It's much more narrow than I expected so it doesn't take much to make the whole bag bulge so then the snaps don't reach to close.
The snaps aren't very strong at all, they should be stronger. I can't carry a water bottle or umbrella in it and still make the flap close and snap.
The metal connector ring on one side where the strap attaches to the bag has no reinforcement to keep it straight so it's always bunching up and causing the metal ring to turn into the vertical position which makes that end of the strap twisted.
The slide adjustor for the strap length doesn't stay in the position I leave it so I have to readjust the length almost every time I use it.
These are tiny little things but when it's comes to something as functional and simple as a strap for a bag, I expected it to be a non-issue.
I wouldn't order this again because of these issues, but for the price, it was a nice interim upgrade from what I had been using.

Beautiful bag! Feels very high quality and the smell of genuine leather is intoxicating. :) Minor quibbles..some discoloration :( also the threads in the picture are white but my bag has orange stitching. The white stitching on brown leather was the most attractive feature in the photo for me and it turned out not so good :(.

Other than that and the useless handle, great bag..my 15-16" laptop fits barely...will stretch the walls of the bag so that you can't put too much more in it.

So pleased with this bag. Bought it for my daughter's fiancé for upcoming graduation. His was worn out and made of canvas. He will be attending grad school and he wanted something professional looking.
It has all of the necessary pockets with a padded area for a laptop and a separate area for a tablet. The leather is absolutely beautiful and looks like it will wear with character over the years.
He was speechless when he opened it!!!!

Like most other negative reaction reviews, I started off excited for this product to come. It took awhile for them to get it shipped out but when it finally arrived I was ecstatic. The first thing I noticed was the magnetic button clasps did not close on their own. You had to put your hand there and manually align them until they were right on top of each other before they would clasp. Not that big of a deal, but I would have preferred something that clasped and aligned by itself when the flap was dropped down. I could live with this though.

What I could NOT live with was eBag's customer service and the overall quality of the product. Eventually, regardless of the weight of stored articles inside the bag, the strap began to fray and the metal rectangle ring that connected the strap to the bag would CONSTANTLY slip up to a crooked position which is what caused the strap fraying. (see picture) And as others have said, the magnetic clasp will eventually rip off regardless of how careful you are in opening the bag. It's just cheaply attached. (see other photo) I gave Kenneth Cole's customer service a call and they told me I'd have to contact the retailer since I didn't buy it directly through them. So I contact the retailer, eBags, and they told me the bag was not eligible for return or replacement and I'd have to look into warranty with Kenneth Cole. I was given two different phone numbers for Kenneth Cole, one for customer service and another for their main line. The main line was nothing but what sounded like an internet dial up tone. The customer service was the phone number for some travel agency called Heritage Travel. They gave me fake numbers!

DO NOT buy this bag or anything from eBags as a company! Very shady E-commerce business they've got going on here and they clearly do not stand behind their sales.
