Not what I wanted. The photo shows that the outside and inside are the same color (white) but the inside in plain brown paper.

Really a no as in 0 stars. Terrible matches. Flimsy. Hard to light. Sometimes lights on only side of match that was stricken and goes out immediately. Was buying these for replacement in my Earthquake preparedness doomsday box, but the matches that have been sitting in there for 5 years work better than these crappy pieces of crap. Do Not Buy. I will return.

you would think matches are matches, but these matches have been cheapened up so much, that (like the other poor reviews say) they are actually hard to light. they will spark each time, but they dont always stay lit. A bit comical, but these matches actually have less of the fire starting/burning material at the top of the match than other matches. I made a point to compare them, side to side with other book matches and its a fact. I like a good price, but for the manufacturer to do this in order to get the price down or the margins up, is a mistake. I would never buy these again. hopefully I can find a manufacturer that sells better quality bookmatches.
