Frustrated!

I received this mirror with the wiring included. I installed on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I had wiring already in the jeep with a seven pin in it. I just plugged it into the mirror and the compass worked but I received an OC code for the temperature. I know the wiring provided only has 4 of the seven pins used to I ended up popping 4 wires out, one at a time. Still had the OC code. So, I ripped all the old wiring out and installed the wire included. After 3 hours of installation, I plugged the mirror in. Same f***ing OC code!!!! This was an easy install. There is not much to do wrong. However, I just wasted 3 hours of my life to achieve the same results I had before I started. I purchased this first and foremost for the compass; this works like it should. The second reason was for the temperature; this apparently is not going to work at all. I am so incredibly frustrated with these results.

Awesome upgrade! This is the second one I have installed in a vehicle. This one has been in for more than a year - never had an issue. I will buy it again.
