These lights are the Clark Griswold for the lawn! I love how easy they were to position and recommend setting up at sunset so it is easier to see where you are placing them. The only problem we ran into were the lights didn't have an outlet extension to connect the second strand-we had to start back at the main outlet which changed our configuration and could covered more ground if continued from the first strand.

These are pretty cool...look great...very different...can watch people slow down to check them out. Couple of things; because they are so cool, not going to reduce the rating, but...the only issue I had was staking them, which does make a big difference so do it, but the tolerances are off on the stakes such that the lamp does not fit snugly into the stake. It is a shame, since the lights are designed with 2 flat sides to fit into the stake, but the gap on the stakes is too far apart. Had to squeeze each one closed to insure the light would not just slip out which they were doing without the "plier squeeze". So, something for manufacturer to look at. Other than that, great. I was skeptical they would "disappear" during the day...but they do! So, not enough of an irritation on the stakes to gives these anything other than 5!

Thank you Mike for your assistance. Great unique product. Looks fantastic especially on my corner lot that spans almost 1 acre. Shipping was fast. It now up for 5 days on a timer. The front of my house is an old deer trail where they trot by every night. The lawn lights survived so far. Re eived a lot of compliments...lookalike the stars but on the ground. I highly recommend! Getting others later. Maybe color ones for next year!

We just LOVE these lights! (36-10 with 'warm white lights'). Bought them back in 2015 and they still look great (first 2 photos are from 2015, 3rd & 4th photos are this year, 2019). The soft glow is 'just right' over the lawn! Installation took a little longer than described, but only because the ground has frozen/thawed/frozen here. It's great having a lighting display that no one else in this area has. Photos shown are from 'dusk', and 'completely night time' views. Very, very pleased with our purchase. Spacing the lights so that they don't form an obvious grid will take some practice (next year), but they look GREAT!
FOLLOW-UP 12/16/2020 - the lights were installed 2 weeks ago and worked beautifully until last night. The ground here is frozen (and we're due for 8" to 10" of snow tonight), so I cannot closely examine the wiring or the individual lights, but an overview of the string shows no breaks. Sad for this to happen just before Christmas. 12/26/20 UPDATE: Accompanying an imprint of a hoof in the ground (most likely a deer) I found a cut in the wire. I was able to splice the ends together and the lights are back in working order!
UPDATE 11/24/2021 - Bought these in 2015. Set them out today to get them into the ground before it freezes. Connected to power source and set the timer to turn on after dark. After 5+ years, 3 bulbs are not working ("X" in the photo). Hoping replacement bulbs are available.

Only complaint is that each set does not have an outlet for adding an additional string of lights. We had to run extension cord to the middle if the front yard. The set comes with enough stakes that are needed. No need to buy additional ones.
