Works for 2005 suburban ac blower issues
DADDEO•September 14, 2017
I used this for a 2005 Chevy Suburban LT. My ac blower started only working on low speed and wouldn't shut off when key turned to off. It is an easy repair, lowered ac cover passenger side, two screws. Removed old resister and removed plug into blower motor. This repair rqequires cutting and splicing three wires. The butt connectors aren't included. Took all of 20-30 min. Works fine now. There are cheaper versions of this made in china but I read some people had issues with them so went with GM part.
like I could not change the fan speed and it ...
Frankie Filippini•September 9, 2017
My 05 GMC Yukon AC was doing some really weird things, like I could not change the fan speed and it would stay on even when the truck was off. Now when I say AC I mean the blower. The compressor would go on and off but not the blower. So I went through all the regular things and found our it was the AC control unit. Because after I removed it the problem was still there. So I did some research and tried this and boom it fixed it like new!
Fan works correctly again

4 stars as I just put it in a week ago and it my blower motor works correctly again, but at this point I can only hope it lasts 11 years like the OEM one did.
Easy install, my plugs showed no signs of over heating to I didn't replace the harness.

This is correct for a 2007 Silverado LT Classic with the fancy digital climate controls. You'll need a 7mm socket for the plastic cover (remove the two right side screws, leave the far left - the cover will drop down enough), a 7/32 socket for the screws in the module. The wires you strip are 16 gauge and, I forget what, but it's very thin, so I had to buy two separate packs of butt splices (16-14 and 22-18). Wrap afterwards with electrical tape. Use a small bladed screw driver to press the release on the original plug to the fan. If you've got the right tools, this is an easy replacement.
Perfect Fit for a 2006 Chevy Avalanche
Eric•August 12, 2017
I bought this to fix the heater fan on my 2006 Avalanche and it worked perfect. Instructions were straight forward and it was a fast fix for a fan that was running after the power was shut off on the vehicle and eventually died. Saved me quite a bit of money over going to the dealer.
